Our panettone is completely handmade by Sicilian artisans and imported by Giannetti Artisans.
As many know, it’s a ritual in many homes where panettone is a welcomed guest after every meal. Giving panettone is not a simple act of kindness but a gesture rich in history and tradition during the holiday season. It is virtually impossible to imagine, for a great many Italian families, to finish the Christmas dinner without the inevitable Panettone cake!
This traditional cake-like bread is cylindrical in shape with a domed top. It should always be taller than it is wide, with a soft and airy interior beneath a dark exterior. The traditional version from Milan contains dried raisins, candied orange and lemon peel and embraced by fans worldwide. In fact, panettone has long crossed the boundaries of its native city. Its main feature is the preparation. In fact, it requires a double or triple rising, made with a yeast, a dough that magically regenerates indefinitely.
When it is enjoyed on Christmas in many countries, it is served in slices, vertically cut, accompanied with sweet hot beverages or a sweet wine, such as Asti or Moscato d’Asti, ice cream or even eggnog. Although the traditional recipe remains a delicacy, we have decided to offer the pistachio cream-filled variation! Simply exquisite!

- Panettone Cake with Sicilian Pistachio Cream filling and dark chocolate (73% cocoa) covering. – 2lb

Ingredients: “00” type Wheat flour, butter, sugar, egg yolk, natural yeast, emulsifiers: mono- and diacetyl tartaric acid esters of mono- and diglycerides, glucose syrup, powdered skim milk, honey, natural flavoring, salt. Filling: pistachio cream with Sicilian Pistachio or with certified “Pistacchio Verde di Bronte DOP” 16% (“Pistacchio Verde di Bronte DOP” 45%, sugar, powdered skim, non hydrogenated vegetable fats (sunflower oil, cocoa butter), emulsifiers: mono- and diacetyl tartaric acid esters of mono- and diglycerides, natural flavoring, hydrated alcohol, natural food coloring). Topping: white chocolate 8% or dark chocolate with a 73% cocoa base (sugar, cocoa butter, powdered milk, emulsifiers: soy lecithin, vanilla extract), Pistachio grains used: “Pistacchio Verde di Bronte DOP” 5%. – May contain other dried fruit and/or shells.
