Ingredients: “00” type Wheat flour, butter, sugar, egg yolk, , natural yeast, emulsifiers: mono- and diacetyl tartaric acid esters of mono- and diglycerides, glucose syrup, powdered skim milk, honey, natural flavoring, salt. Filling: pistachio cream with Sicilian Pistachio or with certified “Pistacchio Verde di Bronte DOP” 16% (“Pistacchio Verde di Bronte DOP” 45%, sugar, powdered skim, non hydrogenated vegetable fats (sunflower oil, cocoa butter), emulsifiers: mono- and diacetyl tartaric acid esters of mono- and diglycerides, natural flavoring, hydrated alcohol, natural food coloring). Once you try our delicious, heavenly, mouthwatering Sicilian pistachio cream-filled panettone cake, you will want to share it with your family and friends for every holiday! We’ve scoured the countryside (and maybe gained a pound or two) to find what we think is the best Panettone Italy has to offer. Our panettone is lovingly handmade by local Sicilian artisans and imported by Giannetti Artisans. We’ve got a white chocolate topping and Certified DOP pistachio cream filling or a dark chocolate topping option with the Italian Pistachio spread filling to choose from – why not try both to satisfy everyone at your table. Make this holiday season the perfect family get together we have all been waiting for.

As many know, it’s a ritual in many homes where panettone is a welcomed guest after every meal. Giving panettone is not a simple act of kindness but a gesture rich in history and tradition during the holiday season. It is virtually impossible to imagine, for a great many Italian families, to finish the Christmas dinner without the delectable Panettone cake!

This traditional cake-like bread is cylindrical in shape with a domed top. It should always be taller than it is wide, with a soft and airy interior beneath a dark exterior.  The traditional version from Milan contains dried raisins, candied orange and lemon peel and is embraced by fans worldwide. In fact, panettone has long crossed the boundaries of its native city. What makes Panettone so unique is the double or triple rising, made with yeast, a dough that magically regenerates indefinitely.

Enjoyed on Christmas in many countries, it is served in slices, vertically cut, accompanied with sweet hot beverages or a sweet wine, such as Asti or Moscato d’Asti, ice cream or even eggnog. While the traditional recipe remains a delicacy, we think your family will love the pistachio cream-filled variation! Simply exquisite!

    Just received this wonderful Italian sweet bread/cake creation a few days before Christmas. Definitely a cut above what you normally get in a regular panettone. This was fresh soft and delicious. The white chocolate topping is a really nice touch and the filling is tasty. a great holiday splurge!
