Sicilian Pistachio Flour
Giannetti Artisans Sicilian Pistachio Flour is a special, artisan-produced flour imported from Bronte, a small town near Catania in Sicily. Bronte is located right under the famous Mount Etna, allowing visitors to witness eruptions of this massive volcano. This unique geography makes Bronte a magical place. Additionally, it is Italy’s largest pistachio-producing area.
Bronte pistachios are in high demand due to their limited production, which occurs every two years. These pistachios have a violet-colored outer skin and a bright green kernel inside, which contribute to their exceptional quality and taste. Their fame extends globally, largely because the pistachio plantations thrive on the volcanic soil of Mount Etna.
Giannetti Artisans uses only 100% ground Sicilian pistachios for our Pistachio Flour.
Perfect for:
- Dessert preparations
- Gelato
- Cannoli
