Authentic PGI Pistachio Modica Chocolate from Sicily

Produced in Modica, Sicily, this traditional PGI Modica Chocolate is made using the distinctive cold-processing method that gives Cioccolato di Modica its characteristic grainy texture and intense cocoa flavor.

The Pistachio Modica chocolate contains 55% cocoa and is sweetened with granulated raw sugar, which remains partially undissolved during production and creates the unmistakable crystalline texture associated with authentic Modica chocolate.

Sicilian Pistachio & Traditional Modica Chocolate

Pistachio adds a distinctly Sicilian character to this classic Pistachio chocolate. Its nutty flavor complements the rich cocoa while preserving the rustic texture and traditional qualities that make Modica chocolate so unique.

Unlike conventional chocolate, Modica chocolate is processed at lower temperatures. The result is a firm chocolate with a granular texture rather than the smooth consistency of standard tempered chocolate. A light white patina may occasionally appear on the surface and is a normal characteristic of this traditional production method.
