Italian Chestnut Honey – Artisan Made in Tuscany
Giannetti Artisans’ Artisanal Italian Chestnut Honey is crafted in the beautiful forested area of Garfagnana, located just outside of Lucca, Tuscany.
The region’s low pollution levels contribute to the production of some of the best chestnut honey in Europe.
Additionally, the unique climatic conditions allow for an extended blossoming season. It’s important to note that our chestnut honey is entirely raw.
We offer a completely unheated and unpasteurized honey, which means that the density may change over time. You may observe that it begins to solidify; this is a natural aging process and indicates nothing is wrong with the honey. In fact, this process ensures that you receive an authentic and pure specialty product.
In contrast, industrial honey often remains in a liquid state due to pasteurization, which unfortunately strips away its natural nutritional properties.
To truly appreciate our chestnut honey, you should have a love for chestnuts, a passion for natural foods, and a preference for a robust aftertaste!

Outstanding. Distinctive flavor and nothing like it here in the states.

Haunting. Not the kind of honey that comes in a bear ☺️. Complex, earthy and ethereal – I am now obsessed! Thank you! (PS. Purchased on Amazon and delivery was great – but will buy direct next time. So glad to have discovered you!)
