Certified Italian Balsamic Vinegar
Our 10-barrel Italian Balsamic Vinegar from Modena is a blend of 90% cooked grape must that is aged and certified in Modena, Italy. This balsamic is aged in 10 different types of high-quality wood barrels, including cherry, juniper, oak, and chestnut. As a result, these various woods impart a delicate and refined taste.
You’ll enjoy a high-quality product with a density of 1.28. This particular vinegar has a sweet, strong, and luxurious flavor. It strikes the perfect balance between lightness and a slight, robust “hit” of acidity. In fact, Giannetti Artisan’s IGP vinegar is an excellent choice for any balsamic lover.
Our vinegar, imported from Modena, is IGP (PGI) Certified by the Consorzio dell’Aceto Balsamico di Modena IGP. This Italian government entity protects the geographical origin of balsamic vinegar production, actively combating fraudulent production and sales of products labeled as “Made in Italy.” The consortium guarantees that our balsamic is produced according to the official guidelines of Modena. We take pride in offering our clients authentic, high-quality products.
Remember, a quality balsamic should contain COOKED GRAPE MUST, not GRAPE MUST CONCENTRATE. So please read your labels!
Giannetti Artisans stands behind this delicious representation of Italian excellence, as we do with all our imported Italian products.
The best ways to use our vinegar include drizzling it on salads, meats, seafood, cheeses, and vegetables. It is also delightful on strawberries!
