Giannetti Artisan’s Unpasteurized Acacia Honey from Italy 8.8 oz is a truly delicious gift of nature. Our Acacia Honey is produced in a clean and unpolluted area of Tuscany by a young and passionate artisan.
We source our honey from the Garfagnana area (about an hour from Lucca) because it has a dense forest of chestnut trees. Luckily, the area is located far from populated cities and smog resulting in a more intense Acacia tree blossom flavor!
In fact, bees live a healthier life in areas like Garfagnana. As a result these wonderful creatures gift us with the true tastes of an all-natural, unpasteurized, unfiltered, unheated honey.
Keep in mind that any genuine artisan honey will become a bit dense with time. Above all this indicates that it has not undergone any kind of temperature alteration and most importantly honey maintains all its natural and beneficial health properties.
Our Acacia Honey has a delicate flavor recommending it for use on a seasoned pecorino cheese for instance. Perfect on fruit and any baking needs.
Available in 17.6 oz or 8.8 oz jars, imported from Italy. New batch due in June of every year.
