Our 10 barrel Aged Balsamic Vinegar is a blend of 90% cooked grape must and certified Balsamic vinegar of Modena.
At any rate our balsamic is aged in 10 different barrels of fine quality wood. This includes: cherry, juniper, oak, and chestnut. As a result, the different woods give the balsamic vinegar a delicate and refined taste. You’ll savor a very high quality product with a density of 1.28.
This particular bottle is sweet, strong and luxurious. Consequently, it has the correct balance of lightness with a slight, robust “hit” of acidity. In fact, Giannetti Artisan’s IGP Balsamic Vinegar is a good ”all-rounder” for any lover of a good balsamic.
Our 10 barrel Aged Balsamic Vinegar of Modena IGP is Certified by the Consorzio dell’Aceto Balsamico di Modena IGP. This is a Italian government entity that protects the territorial origin of balsamic vinegar production. As a matter of fact, these entities fight against the fraudulent production and sales of items labeled as “Made in Italy”. Consequently, there are many items on sale such as balsamic vinegar and Extra Virgin Olive Oil that are not genuine Italian products. The “consorzio” (consortium) guarantees the production of our Balsamic Vinegar as per official production guidelines of Modena.
